Here is a short list of what you will need to bring for your sailing cruise with Thai-Sailing.
We generally recommend that you bring travel bags instead of heavy trunks, as they are lighter and easier to bring into the cabins.
It is warm all year round, so you will not need heavy jackets or sweaters. On board, it is fine to wear bathing suits or shorts, and to put on a t-shirt or light summer clothing towards the evening.
Our suggestions for clothes
Sun hat or baseball cap
A light rain jacket
A few changes of bathing suits
Comfortable shoes for walking on land
Lightweight clothing, which can be layered if needed
Comfortable boat shoes, which don’t slip and don’t mark up the deck (almost everyone walks bare-foot on board)
Lightweight, long-sleeved tops which you can wear in the water to snorkel (the sun’s rays can penetrate under the surface of the water, which can quickly lead to sunburn)
For toiletries and cosmetics, we recommend
Mosquito repellent
Water-resistant sunscreen for snorkeling
Sunscreen (important for nearly all skin types)
After-sun care, in case you do get burned, i.e. panthenol spray
Cosmetic and hygiene products
Pharmaceutical travel kit (any medicines which you may require)
Band-aids or sea-sickness medication, if you require them
You might also want to bring
Binoculars
Flashlights
GPS (for kayak or dinghy expedition)
Sunglasses (maybe even an extra pair)
Cameras (to document your beautiful vacation)
Maybe even an underwater camera (which aren’t that expensive)
